Safeguarding Our Children

Safeguarding our pupils is fundamental! It is non-negotiable - every child has the right to be safe in life!

At Ferryhill Station Primary School, all staff undertake regular Level 1 refresher training. It is the professional responsibility of staff to identify child protection issues and to take seriously any wider safeguarding concerns. In addition, the following senior staff have Level 2 Designated Officer training and ultimately take responsibility for recording and acting upon any worries. If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child in our school, please don't hesitate to contact one of them.

  • Mr. E.P. Jackson (Senior Designated Safeguarding Officer)
  • Mr. T. Leake (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer)
  • Mrs. S. Peacock (Designated Safeguarding Officer)
